Container transport: an efficient way of transporting

Sending your cargo by container transport offers many advantages. Because containers have a standard size, they can easily be transported by road, water and rail without the cargo having to be unloaded and loaded again each time. This saves a lot of time. And time is money, of course!

Vrieze Trading: international expertise in container transport

Nobody knows better than we do at Vrieze Trading that container transport is a speciality. Every day, various containers booked by Vrieze Trading put out to sea, heading for ports all over the world. Most of the containers arriving in Dutch ports, however, come from China. In addition, we work with handling agents all over the world. This keeps us informed of everything happening internationally in the field of container transport.

FCL and LCL container shipments

We take care of both FCL and LCL container shipments for you. When you want to transport large quantities of goods, FCL container transport is often the best choice. FCL stands for Full Container Load and means that the entire container is used for your cargo. When you want to ship goods that cannot fill a complete container, you can opt for Less than Container Load, or LCL. In that case we make sure your cargo is combined with other shipments that have to be transported to the same destination. This is also referred to as groupage.
